Folger's Creative Coffee Campaign
A creative advertising campaign for Folgers Coffee that featured pictures of coffee that were placed on steaming manhole covers all over New York city. These pictures had holes for the steam to pass through to give the illusion of a steaming cup of coffee. Unfortunately, the aroma wafting through steam holes comes from the sewer below.

The tall poppy syndrome is a mental state that probably generates from jealousy. Whatever the syndrome name, the love affair with online performance-based advertising is already over for some.
